Telluride Mountainfilm is more than a film festival. We select roughly 100 films each year from around the world, and curate them alongside guest presentations, our all-day symposium, parties, scheduled conversations, outdoor programs, book signings and musical events. The result is a four-day event like no other.
Repeat festival attendees have come to love the events as much as the films. The festival begins on Friday morning with the symposium, which is followed by the Gallery Walk on Friday afternoon. Films and presentations begin Friday night and run through Monday afternoon. During the festival weekend, guests can enjoy Coffee Talks and Booze & Banters, the Ice Cream Social, the Reading Frenzy, Library programs, free movies under the stars at Base Camp Theatre and popular shorts programs like Adrenaline and Kidz Kino. The Closing Picnic & Awards Ceremony closes out the annual festival on Monday afternoon.
The 2018 festival schedule will be announced in May. For festival schedules from previous years, check out our archives.
