Yael Bridge

Yael Bridge is an Oakland-based, Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker. She is best known for producing films featuring progressive ideas and philosophies like Left on Purpose (2015), Saving Capitalism (2017) with former U.S. Secretary of Labor Robert Reich, and her most recent film The Big Scary “S” Word (Mountainfilm 2021), which explores the recent resurgence and history of an American political movement. As director of productions at Inequality Media, Bridge has made viral videos explaining complicated progressive policy proposals in an accessible way. She has an M.F.A. from Stanford University and an M.A. from The New School.
