Wide Angle Youth Media
Students in Wide Angle Youth Media's Baltimore Speaks Out! Program at the Reisterstown Road Library set out to learn more about the food options in their communities through filmmaking. They discovered healthy, affordable and edible options in their own backyards. The program, which meets after school for 10 weeks, also encourages students to learn video production, critical thinking, public speaking, team-building and leadership skills. The youth producers involved in this project include Ismail Bah, Noah Conn, Elijah Edwards, Latron Fleet Jr., Ean Guralnick, Dejah Johnson, Aminah Mohammed and Binta Phatty.
