The duo is known for thoughtful and beautiful films about the sport of fishing, and they have gained attention at festivals worldwide. Their film DamNation premiered in March 2014 at SXSW in Austin, Texas, and also screened at Mountainfilm in 2014. The documentary, produced in conjunction with Patagonia, explores dam removal and restoring free-flowing American rivers. The project received a Mountainfilm Commitment Grant in 2011. Felt Soul Media has also created the films Eastern Rises (Mountainfilm 2010), Red Gold (Mountainfilm 2008) and Unicorn Sashimi (Mountainfilm 2012). Rummel and Knight also co-directed Senior:82 Winters in Telluride and Kamchatka Steelhead Project (both at Mountainfilm 2016), 120:Tarpon Season (Mountainfilm 2017), The Long Time (Mountainfilm 2018) and Life of Pie (Mountainfilm 2019).
