Tracy Biga MacLean

Tracy Biga MacLean completed her Ph.D. at the USC, School of Cinematic Arts. She received a Mellon Fellowship in Arts Criticism at California Institute of the Arts for work on media events, focusing on the O.J. Simpson trial. Between 2004 and 2011, MacLean served as Academic Director of Intercollegiate Media Studies at the Claremont Colleges. Her book, Television at the Movies: Cinematic & Critical Responses to American Broadcasting, was co-written by Jon Wagner and published by Continuum in 2008. MacLean has taught media studies courses at the University of Southern California, CalArts, the University of California, Santa Barbara, and Pomona, Claremont McKenna and Pitzer Colleges.
