Tahria Sheather

Tahria Sheather is an Australian-born commercial and documentary filmmaker dedicated to telling compelling stories about our human connection with the natural world. Based in the Pacific Northwest, Sheather has documented stories around the world — from ragpickers working in Indian city dumps to herders crossing the Mongolian-Manchurian steppe to cartographers mapping Chilean Patagonia’s newest national park. She has produced content for companies like Columbia Sportswear and Chaco, and her work has appeared in outlets including The New York Times and PBS. She is the producer of Moonlight Sonata; Deafness in Three Movements (Mountainfilm 2019) and director of Creek Sessions (Mountainfilm 2019).
