Stu Thomson

Stu Thomson founded Cut Media in 2007, after a successful 10 year career as a professional MTB athlete competing on the world circuit. The camera offered both a new challenge and also the opportunity to capture the energy and inspiration he drew from the locations and performers he was so lucky to have encountered on his travels. The former World Cup rider’s company has created pieces for Chain Reaction, Lapierre and GT, and Thomson is responsible for the short film Industrial Revolutions (Mountainfilm 2011). Staying true to his roots Thomson directed Danny McCaskill's Wee Day Out (Mountainfilm 2017) and Danny Daycare (Mountainfilm 2019).
