Stormy Pyeatte

Colorado native Stormy Pyeatte is a dancer, actress, photographer and documentary filmmaker who specializes in combining digital media with the performing arts. She has worked with Daniel Brodie’s projection design team of “Motown: the Musical” on Broadway and as the cinematographer for “Only Gold,” choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler. As a recent graduate of the Santa Fe University of Art and Design, she’s working on a web series with a collective of female artists and filmmakers that encourages following generations to hold within themselves the merits of positive self-image and mutual respect. The passing of a friend, Zina Lahr, turned a portfolio project into a viral video, and Creative Compulsive Disorder: The Life of Zina Lahr (Mountainfilm 2014) captures the talent and spirit of her friend.
