Steve Flood is the creative director at Supply + Demand, a sport and outdoor-focused creative agency in Portland, Oregon. Over the years, Flood has helped companies like Danner, Adidas, Wahoo Fitness and Merrell share stories with outdoor enthusiasts and athletes alike. Flood worked alongside Jacob McNeill to capture the story of Will “Akuna" Robinson as he set out to become the first African-American man to complete the Triple Crown of hiking: the Appalachian Trail, the Pacific Crest Trail and the Continental Divide Trail. In The Crown (Mountainfilm 2020), Flood unearthed a story that transcended hiking — documenting the adventure that transformed Robinson into the man now simply known as Akuna. Flood also helped write and produce The Ripple Effect (2020), a powerful film about women shaping the trail and the nation.
