Stefan Sagmeister

Stefan Sagmeister is an Austrian designer who has worked in New York, Hong Kong and Italy. He’s won two Grammys and designed album covers for the Rolling Stones, Talking Heads and Jay-Z. Sagmeister co-owns a design firm in New York City called Sagmeister & Walsh Inc. and wrote a bestselling book titled Things I Have Learned In My Life So Far. He is a director and the subject of The Happy Film (Mountainfilm 2016), which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and has impacted the globe through the film’s extension project, The Happy Show. The film follows Sagmeister’s journey as he questions his life and searches for happiness through meditation, therapy and drugs. What starts as an 18-month project quickly becomes a seven-year odyssey as real life confounds the process.
