Sindha Agha

Sindha Agha is a Los Angeles-based and Emmy-nominated filmmaker who creates narrative digital pieces. Agha used her own experience to illustrate systematic sexism in reproductive health care with Birth Control Your Own Adventure (2018), a viral short acquired by The New York Times’ Op-Docs. The video was nominated for a 2019 News & Documentary Emmy Award and was accepted into Tribeca and Palm Springs International Film Festivals. Agha has also been awarded two Sundance Institute fellowships and contributed to “Radiolab,” The New Yorker, Vox and The Atlantic. She is making her debut at Mountainfilm with her short film Golden Age Karate (Mountainfilm 2021).
