Scott Jurek

Scott Jurek is one of the greatest ultrarunners of all time, having won most of the sport’s most prestigious events, including the 153-mile Spartathlon, the Hardrock 100, the Badwater 135-Mile Ultramarathon and the Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run, which he won a record seven straight times. Jurek also set the United States all-surface record in the 24-Hour Run with 165.7 miles. In 2015, he became the fastest person to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail. Off the trail, he is a New York Times-bestselling author for his memoir, North and Eat & Run. Jurek is a subject of the film The Game Changers (Mountainfilm 2018).
