Scott Gaffney

After graduating from Ithaca College, Scott Gaffney headed west, first to Colorado, where he would meet and start filming longtime friend Shane McConkey, then ultimately to Squaw Valley, California. Gaffney has been a partner with Matchstick Productions (MSP) since 1996, and knows more about ski movies than perhaps anyone else in the world. Together with MSP, Gaffney has helped to produce, shoot and edit over 100 TV episodes and nearly 20 feature-length movies. — including Drop Everything: Michelle Parker Segment (Mountainfilm 2018), All In: Alaska Heli Skiing (Mountainfilm 2019) and Shane McConkey Rules - Compilation (Mountainfilm 2019).
