Scott Ballew

As head of content and creative director for YETI, Scott Ballew has had the opportunity to collaborate with some of today's leading documentary storytellers on over 75 short films, series and documentaries. After a decade on the West Coast working in production, Ballew moved back to his hometown of Austin, Texas in 2015 to create the film program for the outdoor brand – focusing on soulful, quirky and character driven stories that challenge the conventional way of living. The Mountainfilm alum has been involved with many festival films, including The Long Time (Mountainfilm 2018), Ingrained (Mountainfilm 2018), Mothered By Mountains (Mountainfilm 2018), My Mom Vala (Mountainfilm 2018), Charged: The Eduardo Garcia Story (Mountainfilm 2017), Denali’s Raven (Mountainfilm 2017) and 120 Days: Tarpon Season (Mountainfilm 2017).
