Sarah Colt
Award-winning documentary filmmaker Sarah Colt has spent the past two decades telling the stories of the figures and forces who have shaped America. Since founding Sarah Colt Productions 10 years ago, she has produced and directed several films for PBS, including the Emmy-nominated Walt Disney (2015). She released the independent short documentary True Believer with Josh Gleason in 2019. The duo also co-directed The Disrupted (Mountainfilm 2020), a feature documentary that follows a farmer in Kansas, a laid-off factory worker in Ohio and an Uber driver in Florida as they navigate what it means to adapt and thrive through dehumanizing forces in the American economy.
