Ryan Ffrench

Centering his work around communicating the realities of our changing planet, filmmaker Ryan Ffrench works with scientists and conservation groups to bring pressing issues to the big screen. His films include The Outlaw Ocean, following the acclaimed project from Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist Ian Urbina, and Eyes in the Forest (Mountainfilm 2020), about saving wildlife in the threatened Colombian Amazon with the help of camera trap technology. Ffrench is originally from Melbourne, Australia and is currently based in Portland, Oregon.
