Roger Kass
Roger Kass is a producer and entertainment and media lawyer who has worked on such films as A History of Violence, Edmond, The Basketball Diaries, Affliction and The Crow. His latest project takes viewers to the Mediterranean, where poachers are illegally decimating songbird populations. Based on a 2010 New Yorker article by Jonathan Franzen, Emptying the Skies was filmed over the course of one year during which Kass embedded with a group of bird protectors who worked to free as many birds as possible.
