Riley Hooper

New Yorked-based filmmaker Riley Hooper makes documentaries about people. Needless to say, her work is as diverse, fascinating and individualized as her subjects. Her award-winning short docs have screened at festivals around the world and been featured in The New York Times’ Op Doc, as well as The New Yorker, Short of the Week and The Atlantic. She is the director of 70-Some Years (Mountainfilm 2016) and Why Not Now: Vivian Stancil (Mountainfilm 2018).
