Richard Robinson

Richard Knox Robinson is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker based near Charlottesville, Virginia. His directorial debut, The Beekeepers, premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. His following project was the critically acclaimed feature Rothstein’s First Assignment, which premiered at the 2011 Seattle International Film Festival. In 2012, Robinson became a Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Fellow and has since been working on his poetic experimental film Song of the Cicadas. Robinson is a film professor at Virginia Commonwealth University.
