Regina Lopez-Whiteskunk

Mother, grandmother and member of the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe Regina Lopez-Whiteskunk was born and raised in the Four Corners Region. She has been advocating for land, air, water and animals since she was young, and has traveled extensively through the country sharing the Ute culture through song, dance, words and lectures. In October of 2013 she was elected to serve as a member of the Ute Mountain Ute tribal leadership, and she went on to become a Co-Chair of the Bears Ears Intertribal Coalition. The potent speaker has shared her experiences with audiences at Harvard, Yale and Dartmouth.
