Rachel Landis

As the Director of the Fort Lewis Environmental Center in Durango, Colorado, Rachel Landis works with tomorrow’s environmental leaders to build the tools, passion, and know-how to create positive change in our world. Never one to sit still, she is also a senior field instructor at the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), program director and founder of the nonprofit Sisters on Leadership Expeditions (SOLES) and ski patroller at Telluride Ski Resort. Landis, who directed Mountainfilm's 2017 New Normal Initiative, was elected in May of 2017 to the La Plata Electric Association Board of Directors.
