Pablo Durana

Pablo Durana is a Colombian-born, Canadian-raised and California-based Emmy award-winning cinematographer. As an endurance athlete, he has extensive experience filming and operating in extreme conditions, from within the world's deepest caves in Mexico, to the towering walls of Antarctica. For almost two decades Durana has worked with the world’s top documentary filmmakers and adventure athletes and has also done deep dives into life's gritty side via ShowTime's series “The Trade” about human trafficking and the woman's rights documentary short, Ascending Afghanistan (Mountainfilm 2019) He is director of Adventuring in the Name of Science, director of photography of Queen Maud Land (both Mountainfilm 2019). Durana also worked on Into Twin Galaxies and North of Known (both Mountainfilm 2017). No Legs. All Heart. (Mountainfilm 2023) marks Durana’s feature documentary debut as a creative director.
