Nouria Newman

Renowned around the world, Nouria Newman is a French slalom canoeist who has competed successfully at an international level. Over the course of her career she’s won two medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships — a silver in 2013 and a gold in 2014. With a sponsorship from Red Bull, she paddled down three rivers in the Himalayas in 2018. With a master’s degree in journalism she released and starred in Red Bull’s Nouria Newman Kayaks Norway (Mountainfilm 2020), where she takes on the rivers around Voss, Norway.
