As a partner, writer and producer at Sender Films, Nick Rosen has co-created some of the most popular and widely viewed climbing films and series of the last decade. Sender’s National Geographic television series “First Ascent” was nominated for an Emmy, and their films have won many awards. But Rosen’s work goes beyond the realm of climbing: He has tackled subjects that range from civil war to yoga and professional wrestling to Welsh corgis. He has also developed a career as an on-screen and voice-over talent. Rosen and Sender Films are frequent contributors to Mountainfilm, where they have screened Front Range Freaks, King Lines, Alone on the Wall (Mountainfilm 2010), Honnold 3.0 (Mountainfilm 2013), Valley Uprising and The Man Behind the Mask (both Mountainfilm 2015). To continue, in 2016 Sender and Rosen created High and Mighty, Generation Up, Showdown at Horseshoe Hell (all Mountainfilm 2016). The next year was no exception to the rule, as Sender continued to produce outstanding climbing films, including Young Guns, Brette and Boys in the Bugs (all at Mountainfilm 2017).
