Nick Martini

Director Nick Martini grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts, and spent his childhood skiing in northern New Hampshire. He started making ski films with his brother when he was 13 years old, and by 16, he was skiing professionally, competing and skiing in films for the next decade. The brothers eventually formed Stept Studios, a production company that produces ski movies and commercial content for outdoor and athletic brands. Martini is the director of Joe Lahout (Mountainfilm 2016), a film about the man who runs America’s oldest ski shop: Lahout’s Ski Shop in Littleton, New Hampshire.
