Nick Kalisz

Inspired by the great outdoors and the raw beauty of human emotion, Nick Kalisz’s film career has carried him from the Austrian Alps and the high Himalaya to remote Alaska and Mount Kilimanjaro. His films are packed with beautiful scenery and dynamic shots of people engaging in harsh environments. A graduate of Ohio University Scripps School of Communication, Kalisz has filmed for commercials, television, major motion pictures and sports documentaries. He co-directed Lhotse (Mountainfilm 2020) with Dutch Simpson, which documents Hilaree Nelson and Jim Morrison’s journey as they climb and ski Lhotse, the world’s fourth-highest mountain.
