Mike Douglas

Mike Douglas is known as the “Godfather of Freeskiing” for his many contributions to the industry, which include designing the first twin-tip ski. As the founder of Switchback Entertainment, Douglas has worked on more than 100 productions and is behind the web series “Salomon TV.” Over the years, Douglas has brought many short adventure films to Mountainfilm, including The Freedom Chair (Mountainfilm 2012), Tempting Fear and The Burn (both Mountainfilm 2013), SuperMom (Mountainfilm 2014), Ruapehu (Mountainfilm 2015), Guilt Trip (Mountainfilm 2017), Night of the Turn (Mountainfilm 2020) and The Chairlift (Mountainfilm 2021).
