Michael Barnett

Michael Barnett is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker focused on telling human stories of culture and social justice. His films have premiered at Sundance and Tribeca and have won awards at more than 40 festivals around the globe. Barnett’s first feature-length film Superheroes (2011) was picked up by HBO and distributed as a documentary film series. Barnett also directed Becoming Bulletproof (2014), and partnered with Netflix Originals to create The Mars Generation (2017), an in-depth look at the politics, philosophy and technology of our space industry. He is the director of Changing the Game (Mountainfilm 2019).
