Max Holmes
Hot weather, cold weather, whatever the weather, Robert Max Holmes studies it. With ongoing projects in the Russian, Canadian and Alaskan arctic, as well as in the Congo and the Amazon, Holmes earned the honorable title of National Fellow of the Explorers Club in 2015. As deputy director, senior scientist of Woods Hole Research Center, he is tasked with conveying the results and implications of his research to both the public and policymakers around the globe.
