Mattias Evangelista

Mattias Evangelista is an editor and director based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, he was introduced to filmmaking through action sports and now uses the medium to tell human stories, bringing passion and empathy to every project. A five-time Vimeo Staff Pick winner, his work has been screened at film festivals around the globe. In his most recent short There’s No End (Mountainfilm 2022), Evangelista steps into indie rock’s Phil Elverum’s intimate world as he raises his daughter in the San Juan Islands.
