Matthew Hood

Matthew Hood is a filmmaker and photographer who focuses on nature, wildlife and exploration. Documenting remote subjects through compelling and powerful imagery, Hood is in his element when immersed in nature. His passion for optical exploration has led him to innovative and experimental film techniques. Hood’s knowledge of the full production process allows him to formulate and visualize the image, carrying it through all steps of the film production process. He is the co-director of My Irnik (Mountainfilm 2017).
