Lindsay Branham

Lindsay Branham is the founder of Novo, an incubator for art that inspirits human connection in imaginative ways. She is a filmmaker and social scientist. Her work focuses on creating media to foster attitudinal and behavior change in places of violent conflict or in settings of intractable human rights abuse. Her virtual reality documentary Behind The Fence won the Grand Jury Prize at SXSW. Her work has been featured in film festivals around the world, (including Nascent, which played at Mountainfilm in 2016) CNN, BBC and The New York Times. Together with Andrew Ellis, Branham directed the films Zo Kwe Zo (Mountainfilm 2017) and The Deep Place (Mountainfilm 2018). She is a Kathryn Davis Fellow for Peace and was named the inaugural Envision Social Good Fellow by the Independent Film Project and the United Nations. Branham studied trauma and mental health at Harvard Medical School and journalism at the University of Southern California.
