Lauren Kurtz

Lauren Kurtz is the executive director of the Climate Science Legal Defense Fund, where she works to protect climate scientists from harassment by politically and ideologically motivated groups, who sometimes use and abuse the legal system to attack climate researchers. Previously, Kurtz was a litigation associate at the international law firm Dechert LLP. Kurtz has a master’s and Juris Doctor degree in environmental policy from the University of Pennsylvania.
