Kyle Romanek

Director, cinematographer and writer Kyle Romanek has been making films since he was nine years old. The foundation of this passion was built at Full Sail University where he was enrolled in the film production program. Immediately after graduation, Romanek was accepted into the Creative Minds Filmmaking Institute at the Cannes Film Festival. Inspired and motivated, he set out to direct his first feature film, Astray, based on a script of his own writing. Ditch the Van (Mountainfilm 2017) is one story of many to come from Malakye Films, founded by Romanek and his creative partner, Mallory Cunningham.
