Kristelle Laroche

The 2013 short documentary Gnarly in Pink (Mountainfilm 2015) chronicles the story of the Pink Helmet Posse, three six-year-old girls who also happen to be shredding, stereotype-smashing skateboarders. Kristelle Laroche directed the film with Ben Mullinkosson, and Laroche also directed the 2014 films When I Look in the Mirror and Willing to Wait. When she isn’t making films, the Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts graduate can be found working with youth at the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, California.
