Keith Ladzinski

A Colorado native, Keith Ladzinski started off like all the cool kids — skateboarding. Learning to capture images with his friends, he started to play with a camera and then went on to big and important things — a job in coding — until he was fired. The separation from a desk job gave Ladzinski the open door to capturing what are now renowned climbing and adventure photographs. From his first cover of Rock and Ice, Ladzinski has been a mainstay in the climbing world. Ladzinski is also the director of two climbing films Desert Ice and The Karsts of China (both Mountainfilm 2014). Ever the explorer, Ladzinski with Andy Mann, followed Mike Libecki to a remote jungle island to film the climbing short Poumaka (Mountainfilm 2016).
