Joseph Fletcher

Captivated by the art of storytelling, filmmaker Joseph Fletcher found his passion after picking up a camera. An East Coast native who now calls Oakland, California home, Fletcher brings a versatile perspective to his work behind the lens. With a background in action sports, his unique ability to capture the feats of high-performing athletes in their natural element is what fascinates his audience. His most recent film, Moving Meditation (Mountainfilm 2021), tells the story of award-winning skateboarder Eric Johnson, who shares the benefits of a leisurely passion while also advocating for change in the systemic racial injustice of our nation.
