Jon Kasbe
Jon Kasbe is an Emmy Award-winning Australian-Indian filmmaker. Most recently he directed, executive produced and shot “The Deep End,” a FreeForm/Hulu four-part docuseries exploring one of today’s most controversial spiritual teachers and her followers. He also directed, alongside Crystal Moselle, the feature documentary My Robot Sophia, which premiered in competition at the 2022 Tribeca Festival and is now available on Apple TV and Prime Video. Kasbe is the director of Daylight (Mountainfilm 2026). His debut feature When Lambs Become Lions (Mountainfilm 2018) received the 2017 Sundance Documentary Fund, won Best Editing at the 2018 Tribeca Festival, was released theatrically by Oscilloscope Laboratories and was nominated for two 2019 IDA Awards in Best Cinematography and Best Editing.
