Joey Schusler wears many hats, intertwining his athletic skills with creativity as a filmmaker, photographer and professional mountain biker. His passion for adventure sports, particularly the mountain variety, be it on wheels or skis, has driven his filmmaking from mountain biking in the Cordillera Huayhuash in Peru, the subject of the short film Huayhuash, to skiing on Pico de Orizaba in 55 Hours in Mexico (Mountainfilm 2015). Together with Yeti Bikes, Schusler rides some of the most scenic terrain in the world. The resulting series includes the shorts Iceland. Proven Here (Mountainfilm 2016) and Whitefish. Proven Here (Mountainfilm 2017). In his quest to find great trails and better stories, Schusler traveled to Nepal to share the story of RJ Ripper (Mountainfilm 2018).
