Joe Ventura

Joe Ventura is a writer, designer and filmmaker based in Evergreen, Colorado. He grew up in Ohio, studied in Georgia and then later, Australia. For the last 15 years, he has led communications and advocacy for nonprofit organizations in Tanzania, Oakland and New York. When not harnessing the power of storytelling to inspire social action, Ventura enjoys riding bikes and sitting in the grass with his dog Luna. Alongside Shane Matthews, Ventura co-directed the touching short documentary Carving Joy (Mountainfilm 2020).
