Jochen Mesle
Freeskier and mountaineer Jochen Mesle is in love the the Alps. Born and raised in Dürbheim, Germany, he moved to Innsbruck, Austria in 2007 to be closer to the mountains and to live his passion daily. An experienced alpinist known for his creative and technically demanding style on skis, Jochen is currently competing in the Freeride World Qualifiers and is often on the road with renowned film crews. Eis & Palmen (Ice & Palms) (Mountainfilm 2019), depicting his bike- and ski-powered journey across the Western Alps with fellow skier Max Kroneck, won the won the Audience Award at its premiere at the St. Anton Film Festival in France.
