Jim Nowak

Jim Nowak is co-founder and president of dZi Foundation, a nonprofit that works in partnership with remote communities in Nepal to improve quality of life through infrastructure and education projects. Since 1997, Nowak has taken dZi Foundation from a grassroots organization — originally formed to save girls at risk in Kathmandu — to a thriving organization that serves over 30,000 individuals in the remote villages of eastern Nepal. The dZi's growth from a kitchen-table operation to one of the Himalayan region's most respected nonprofits is the result of his knowledge, passion and commitment to those the dZi Foundation serves today.
