Jesse Roesler
Jesse Roesler is an Emmy and James Beard award-winning filmmaker whose work has moved millions via SXSW, The Travel Channel and The New York Times. His debut feature film The Starfish Throwers was named “The Most Heartwarming Film of the Year” by The Huffington Post. In his most recent short film Breaking Trail (Mountainfilm 2022), Roesler follows 28-year-old, Black, LGBTQ advocate Emily Ford as she sets out with a borrowed female Alaskan Husky sled dog to hike the entire 1,200-mile Ice Age Trail in winter. He is the co-founder of the creative content studio Credi Nonfiction and currently resides in rural western Wisconsin with his wife and sons.
