
Jeremy Seifert
Jeremy Seifert is an award-winning filmmaker and the co-director of The Devil We Know (2018). His past films, GMO OMG (2013) and DIVE! Living Off America’s Waste (2010) have won over 30 awards at festivals around the world. A frequent film contributor to Emergence Magazine, Seifert has appeared on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” NPR’s “The Story” and speaks at universities and conferences across the country. His short film The Church Forests of Ethiopia (Mountainfilm 2020) is one of The New York Times’ Op-Docs films. It tells the story of Orthodox churches in Ethiopia that have been guarding pockets of forest in order to preserve Ethiopia’s quickly shrinking biodiversity.
