Jeff Woods

Originally from Ridgway, Colorado, Jeff Woods earned a bachelor of arts from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Fueled with an entrepreneurial spirit, he left a lucrative career in the restaurant industry to pursue his passion for telling stories through filmmaking. He is now based in Eagle, Colorado where he formed the video production company Capture the Action with two like-minded friends. His true passion lies in finding and telling the stories that can genuinely change communities. In his film, A Cycle Effect Story (Mountainfilm 2020), Woods recounts the journey of a young woman whose life is changed by mountain biking and the support of The Cycle Effect, a nonprofit organization.
