Jacob McNeill

Jacob McNeill is an editor and director based in Salem, Oregon. His film The Crown (Mountainfilm 2020) captures the unique journey of Will “Akuna” Robinson, the first African-American to achieve the Triple Crown of hiking: the Appalachian Trail, the Pacific Crest Trail and the Continental Divide Trail. Along the way, Robinson, who is also a veteran and Merrell Ambassador, discovers that the people he meets on the journey are “like the best friends you never knew you had.” Robinson continues to share his experience today with the hopes of inspiring people to pursue their dreams.
