Jack Boston

Jack Boston grew up a self-described surf rat in Santa Cruz, California. After an injury sidelined him from the waves for a few months, he picked up his family’s camera to pass the time, and the rest is history. In 2010, Boston graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz with a bachelor’s degree in film and digital media. In 2012, he was hired to do some freelance work for Caliber Truck Co. At that point, he didn’t even know downhill skateboarding existed. Now, he works for both Caliber and Arbor Skateboards, traveling the world and creating videos. The 2014 short film James Kelly — Burn It Down (Mountainfilm 2015) is a look at the fluid and graceful, yet high-speed and adrenaline-fueled, world of racing down a mountain road on a skateboard.
