Iz La Motte is an adventure photographer and filmmaker who was raised in the Catskill Mountains of New York and educated in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Today, Iz can be found among the deep snow and sharp ridgelines of Utah's Wasatch Range. It is there that she has developed her craft into one that focuses on the human story and its relation to the world. She strongly believes that everyone has a story to tell, and her passion lies in working with individuals to help tell their own impactful stories in a way that feels true to them. In her short film Fuel (Mountainfilm 2022), Iz depicts Madison Rose Ostergren’s journey and the joy that she finds in skiing while encouraging others to be true to themselves.
