Isaac Seigel-Boettner

From a young age, Isaac Seigel-Boettner has seen the world from the seat of the bicycle. While he spent most of his childhood in California, every summer his family took him, his brother and groups of middle-school kids on bike trips around the world. Most birthdays were celebrated on foreign shores, exploring other cultures and ways of life. The exploration of other peoples' traditions has carried over into his filmmaking, where the everyday routines of his subjects are a point of discovery and understanding. Seigel-Boettner attended UC Berkeley for film studies and runs Pedal Born Pictures with his brother, Jacob Seigel Brielle. Together, they’ve produced With My Own Two Wheels (Mountainfilm 2011), I Am Able (Mountainfilm 2015), and Comeback Girls (Mountainfilm 2021).
