Ian Shive

Conservationist photographer Ian Shive is the author of The National Parks: Our American Landscape. He has worked on assignment with environmental nonprofits, including The Nature Conservancy, The Sierra Club, Environmental Defense Fund and the National Parks Conservation Association. His nature photography has also appeared regularly in Backpacker Magazine, Sunset, Outside, National Geographic, Men’s Journal and more. In 2011, he was honored with the Ansel Adams Award for Conservation Photography. He is the founder and CEO of Tandem Stills + Motion, a collection of outdoor photographs and motion clips that represents more than 1,000 photographers.
